Shipping Policy

When do you ship?
Orders are shipped Monday – Friday. If your order is shipping via PEP or The Courier Guy, the order must be received by 10am to ship out the same business day. If your order is shipping via The Courier Guy, it must be received by 1pm pacific time to ship out the same business day.

Where do you ship to?
We ship domestically as well as internationally. If you have a question about domestic and national delivery, please email care@yomart.co.za.

How do you ship?
Most of our orders ship via The Courier Guy. However if the items weigh less than a few kgs, we most likely will ship via PEP, if there is a PEP close by customer and if customer elects so. We will confirm with customer prior to shipping.

Since we do ship most of our orders via Courier Guy, our website will only allow you to choose that as a shipping option. However there is a comments box on the shipping selection screen where you can write in your desired shipping method.

Small orders going to Johannesburg and Pretoria will almost always be sent by The Courier Guy to help save on shipping cost and brokerage fees.

Rates to ship?
We do charge a flat rate for shipping, however it is based on Courier Company selected and method of shipping (roadfreight, overnight etc). Customer can expect to pay between R60 for local (Cape Town) deliveries and R120 for national deliveries for 3-4 working days delivery, R250 for airfreight (2 days), R349 for overnight deliveries.

The shipping quote you receive when you place and order is not always your final shipping charge. We will adjust the final cost after your order has shipped out and confirmation with customer, and then advise you.

How to track an order that’s been shipped?
If a tracking number is available and an email address was provided at the time of order, you will receive an email from us on the link which you can use to track your orders. Please note that the links belong to our shipping partners, as such we have no control on access and accuracy of tracking information provided.

In store pick up option?
You can pick up your order from our premised in Parow, Cape Town. Please call 021 911 4226 to make appointment for pickup. Our showroom is open Monday to Friday 9am – 4pm. If you have a small order, then you can just stop by and pick up the items. If you have a larger order it may take a few hours to put together, so it may be best to call beforehand so that we can have it ready for you. Our hotline number is 021 911 4226 or you can email care@yomart.co.za If you place order on our website and require pick up, please email care@yomart.co.za so that we can hold the order for pickup, otherwise it may be shipped out should it meet our free shipping threshhold and promotional offers.

Are the items in stock?
All items are normally held in stock. However we may sometimes run out due to sudden demand, in which case we will notify you and inform you of the date we expect to receive more stock.

What are the lead times?
We aim to ship orders within 1 working days for local orders and 2 working days for national orders. However this may sometimes be longer due to other circumstances such as order volume and back orders. Also we do have a few special order items that have longer lead times.
